Dan Berzansky has lived in Orange County since the age of 7. He grew up in Irvine attending University High School where he swam and played Water Polo. After a successful high school swimming career, Dan swam on scholarship for Division I Stony Brook University in Long Island NY. Dan was captain of the men’s team his Junior and Senior year at Stony Brook and was a 5 time conference champion.
After graduating from Stony Brook University, Dan returned home where he became the Aquatics Director for the new Merage JCC in Irvine. Through the JCC, Dan started the OC Waves Swim Team, a USS Club program that has produced scores of highly successful swimmers. In 2007, Dan was promoted to Games Director for the 2007 JCC Maccabi Games, the largest single youth sporting event in in North America. In 2008 Dan was named Program Director of the JCC Maccabi Experience and Special Programming, a role he continued to hold until leaving the JCC in 2010.
In all, Dan has over 15 years of coaching experience as well as over 12 years of experience in the recreation field with a focus on project management. In addition, Dan also has over 13 years of experience as an instructor for the American Red Cross where he teaches classes ranging from CPR, to Lifeguarding and First Aid.
Dan earned his MBA from Pepperdine University. He currently resides in Laguna Niguel with his wife Jordana, his daughter Avrah, and his son Cohen.

Ryan Larson has over 20 years of experience in the aquatics. As a collegiate swimmer, swim instructor, lifeguard, and coach, Ryan has had the opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced coaches and instructors, giving him a unique vantage point in the aquatics world. Ryan competed for Concordia University in Irvine, where he earned his Bachelors in Communications. Ryan is also a recent graduate from the Concordia MBA program.
Jordana grew up in Irvine, California and graduated from the University of California San Diego with a degree in Cognitive Psychology. She then got her Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling, working several years with people with acquired brain injuries. After some time, she chose to pursue working with kids with special needs, so she earned her Education Specialist Credential. Jordana and was a high school special education teacher at Capistrano Valley High School for eight years.
Jordana put teaching on hold after she had her second child so that she could be home with her two, young children and get more involved with Premier. She loves being able to facilitate with the various programs that are offered, as well as giving some guidance and input on making sure children of all abilities are included.
Jordana has been married to Dan since 2010, and they have two children, Avrah and Cohen.
Josh Dentry has been a California native, living most of his life in Huntington Beach. Josh has always felt at home by the water. Whether surfing his local break or just having fun poolside, becoming a lifeguard just felt right. Josh has completed an Associate’s Degree and is currently working on his Bachelor’s degree in communication and marketing while working full time. Josh has had the opportunity to work and grow with many Fortune 500 companies over his 11 year career and now brings that experience with him to Premier. Since Joining with Premier Josh has gained His lifeguard, First Aid, CPR and Lifeguard Instructor certifications and supervises over 50 lifeguards.
